Dr. Joshua Price is an Alabama native, originally from Arley. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then earned a master's degree in Human and Environmental Science from the University of Alabama as a Rural Medical Scholar. Dr. Price graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2019 and completed his Family Medicine residency training at the University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency in Tuscaloosa.
Prior to joining Moundville Primary Care Associates, Dr. Price served Hale County as a family physician at Hale County Hospital. He has experience caring for patients in the outpatient clinic, hospital, urgent care, and emergency room settings. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a current member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and Tuscaloosa County Medical Society.
Dr. Price and his wife, Alivia, enjoy spending time outdoors with their two dogs, Bella and Fisher. They serve the community through their work and their church. They also enjoy trying new foods and working on DIY home improvements together.
Andrea Stringfellow is a Certified Registered Adult Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in 2006 and was a staff nurse at DCH Emergency Department for 7 years. She then earned a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014. She holds a national board certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult-Gerontology nurse practitioner. She has worked with Dr. Larry Skelton in Moundville, Alabama for the last 9 years.
She believes in developing strong relationships with her patients in order to provide personalized care that is tailored to the patient's specific needs. Andrea and her husband, Benji, have one daughter Abby.
